The final monthly winner of this year's WorkSafe Victoria Footy's Favourite Farmer is Rutherglen identity Greg Lumby.
“As the team visited the Rutherglen Cats last month for the Country Club Game series, we saw first-hand the community admiration for Greg and his positive impact on the club and community,” a WorkSafe spokesperson told the Free Press.
“After receiving many nominations for Greg, it's our pleasure to announce him as our third and final monthly shortlisted entrant for Footy's Favourite Farmer 2024. We'll be announcing the overall winner of the competition shortly.”
“Very good! It’s one of those things, the club might get a bit extra out of it which is fantastic,” was President Greg’s reaction.
“You don’t expect these things but it’s appreciated.”
