Feel the grass beneath your feet at Seymour Bowling Club

Success: Dot Carroll trophy winner Gail Krzciuk with runner-up Trish Green.

The Seymour Bowling Club is ready to roll for the spring and summer seasons.

The club will offer a variety of competitive and social events across the warmer months.

Club member Milton Howell said there was a bowling event to suit everyone.

All smiles: Jack Sloane trophy winner Dennis Klein with runner-up Eliot Jarman.

“Seymour Bowling competes in the summer pennant competition across the Goulburn Valley,” Howell said.

“We have teams entered in both the weekend (Saturday) and midweek (Tuesday) competitions.

“(But) why not join us on Friday evenings during spring and summer months from 4pm to 7pm for social drinks.”

From October 25, the club will host social barefoot bowls on Wednesdays at 6pm.

Veterans: Richard Maggs, Bill Solomon, Dilva Grattan, Vin Hall and Ron Ridd.

All standards are catered for, from beginners feeling the turf under their feet for the first time to the seasoned pros.

The club will provide players with all the equipment necessary.

Players can wear flat-soled shoes on the turf if they are not keen on playing barefoot.

The fun continues as attendees can look forward to a light supper served and drinks being available for purchase from the bar.

For those looking for a venue to hold their next event, look no further than the Seymour Bowling Club.

The club is available for functions, with options for catering or great facilities for self-catering.

As the Christmas party season rolls around, the club can arrange social or corporate barefoot bowls functions.
