The region’s 10th and final Victoria Open began on bowling greens across the Goulburn Valley on Friday after a three-year COVID-19 hiatus.

More than 2000 players are taking part in the event, making it the largest in Victoria Open history.

The week-long event began with the mixed pairs competition last Friday and will come to a close with finals to be staged this Friday.

News photographer Megan Fisher got along to East Shepparton Bowls Club on Saturday to capture some of the action from the men’s singles event.
