Good luck separating the ‘nos’ from the ‘yeses’ when it comes to the sides that will play finals in the Goulburn Murray Junior League.

It’s still early in the season, but a logjam is already beginning to form in the under-16 division one bracket and, after the weekend’s games, you cannot put a line through any of the nine sides hoping to hoist the flag.

Kyabram kept the heat on with a 12.9 (81) to 7.8 (50) win over Mooroopna, while Tatura rebounded from past defeat by sealing a four-goal victory against the Echuca Murray Bombers.

Shepp Notre Bears Maroon had a plethora of scorers as it cruised to a 15.7 (97) to 5.1 (31) win over Echuca and Shepparton United ran out a 14.6 (90) to 9.8 (62) victor over Shepparton Swans.
