Round eight of the Edna Harling Shield season is going to be hard to top.

Kyabram almost handed Shepparton Park its second loss of the season, with the Parkers able to hold on for a narrow 12-69 to 4-68 win on Tuesday, December 13.

The Kialla-based outfit did enough at Kyabram to hold onto top spot in the Goulburn Valley Playing Area midweek division one ladder.

Park skip Margaret Thorne claimed the only rink win for her side with a crucial 27-14 victory.

Meanwhile, East Shepparton remains in second spot on the table following its dominant win against Rushworth.

The Eagles ran out 16-91 to 0-55 winners at East Shepparton.

Euroa pulled off a shock result with a three-shot win over Shepparton Golf.

On the foothills of the Strathbogie ranges, Euroa escaped with a gutsy 14-67 to 2-64 win.

And Seymour was lucky to come away with a win over Tatura-Hill Top and pencilled in a 12-73 to 4-57 result.
