There was a major rumbling at Rumbalara’s Mercury Dve ground on Monday.

The air was still, the afternoon air had a chill, but a certain pack of Bombers busted right through the tranquillity and tore up the track to a healthy audience.

As part of Essendon AFLW’s Community Camp in Shepparton, fans were able to watch on as the Dons’ stars were put through their paces during Monday’s open training session.

The likes of Mansfield product Bonnie Toogood, dual threat Georgia Nanscawen and more got a tune up at Mercury Dve as the 2024 AFLW season — scheduled to begin in late August — draws nearer.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit buzzed around the action to snap the players in full flight.
