Spring has sprung and the children are having a ball during the school holidays.
After three rigorous terms of schooling, the Goulburn Valley’s children rightfully put their feet up for a bit of rest and relaxation.
However, they still needed to burn the seemingly endless supply of energy; enter a parents’ saving grace — a school holiday sports program.
Skillzone Sports — an organisation aimed at keeping children active — held a school holiday camp at VISY Centre in Shepparton last Thursday.
The children played a variety of fun-focused games filled with sprints, hopping and plenty of laughter.
With skies clearing, the temperature rising and the feeling of summer fast approaching, the region’s children will be ready to roar into the final term of the 2024 school year when it arrives in the coming days.
