On Tuesday, bowls were rolled, dust settled and kings of the midweek Goulburn Valley Playing Area lower tiers were enthroned.

Tallygaroopna is the division two premier after producing a crashing 14-73 to 2-61 victory over Kyabram at Tatura Bowling Club.

Joey Lia skipped the Redlegs to a 31-16 drubbing in the first rink before Michael Hanna backed it up with a seven-shot victory for Tallygaroopna in the second exchange.

Despite Graham Woodcock’s four stealing back respect for Kyabram 28-18 in rink three, the win remained comprehensive for the Redlegs.

The win arrives with a degree of respite for Tallygaroopna, reconciling a semi-final exit in last year’s second division two decider.

At Euroa Bowls Club, Seymour VRI turned on the style in division three’s big dance, overcoming Mooroopna Golf for a 14-82 to 0-68 result.

The victor failed to drop a single rink during the contest and, similarly to Tallygaroopna’s tale, clawed back bragging rights after falling in last year’s grand final.

Eildon sealed its premiership in style in the division four final as it dismantled East Shepparton 16-80 to 0-46.

Raymond Holt’s third rink was the icing on the cake, his quartet sealing a thundering 37-14 victory over John Rowan and co.

Down a division, Merrigum finally got its prize for battling away all season as it whipped Tatura-Hill Top for the biggest win across the grades.

John Chant’s 24-shot win in the second rink underscored Merrigum’s 16-81 to 0-32 victory in grand fashion.

Lastly, Mooroopna White took out the division six grand final derby, ousting its counterpart Mooroopna Blue 14-41 to 0-23.
