One Tatura star is in fine form after netting a second hat-trick in three weeks.
Round nine of Bendigo Amateur Soccer League took place at the weekend, with Tatura getting the job done at home over Shepparton South in the Central Victoria League One Women’s competition.
The star of the show was Tatura’s Tara Ambrosini, who scored the only three goals in the match — her first hat-trick of the season was two games ago against Kyneton District.
Ambrosini is now tied-fourth on the league’s goal tally, with 11 from nine games.
The Ibises’ 3-0 win means they have a record of four wins from nine games and are sitting fourth on the ladder, one point clear of La Trobe University, which is fifth.

The loss means the Blues have dropped to third spot on the ladder, with Bendigo side Strathfieldsaye sitting in second thanks to a better goal difference.
In the Central Victorian League One Men’s competition, Shepparton United reversed the women’s scoreline by defeating Spring Gully United 2-0.
Blues duo Willie Sauiluma and Abbas Al Gazaly were the two goal scorers for the match.
Tatura secured a dominant five-goal victory over its rival Shepparton South on Sunday.
Ibis Thomas Leech bagged two goals, while Xavier Black, Cody Sellwood and Fraser Gosstray all scored one.
The match appeared to have some spice in it.
Two Tatura players received yellow cards, while South had four yellows and one red — Nathan Radevski was the player sent off.
Fifth-placed Shepparton lost to third-placed Strathdale by three goals on Saturday.
Shepparton’s Mohammed Al-Gazaly was his side’s lone goal scorer in the 5-2 loss.
This weekend, Tatura plays Spring Gully, South takes on Epsom and Shepparton hosts cross-town rival United in round 10.
