Nondies-Cohuna travelled to Bamawm Recreation Reserve to take on Bamawm-Lockington United in the Goulburn Murray Cricket T20 final.

The Lions’ decision to bat first bore more than its share of fruit as Kyle Humphrys and the ever-prominent Regis Chakabva went on the warpath, the former’s 65 proving enough to win the game on its own as they settled at 7-197.

The Nondies chase was over before it began as no fewer than four run outs amplified the magnitude of a crushing 135-run title win for the hosts.

Riverine Herald photographer Aidan Briggs was among the action.
