The Goulburn Valley region’s next generation knocked it out of the park when croquet came calling this week.
On Wednesday, students from Goulburn Valley Grammar School, Moama Anglican Grammar School and Euroa Secondary College descended on Shepparton Croquet Club’s grass courts for a taste of what’s becoming a fast-growing sport in the area.
Players practised drives, rolls and split strokes during the interschool challenge, which had them team up in groups to have some fun under the spring sun among friendly company.
Shepparton News photographer Rechelle Zammit passed by the courts to snap the youngsters in their element.
