Only three rounds have passed in the Goulburn Valley Playing Area season and already two anomalies have occurred.

Following Seymour VRI’s 9-76 to 9-76 stalemate with Nagambie in the division two season opener, the association had its second draw — but this time, the tie manifested one below on the competition’s pyramid.

Mooroopna Golf could not be separated from Kyabram on shots in a division three thriller, with both sides ending the day on 81-apiece.

However, the Bombers were able to jag the ascendancy in a 10-8 points split despite a monster second rink victory for the Golfers.

Alan Tweddle’s quartet went big, scoring a 29-16 triumph, but Kyabram was able to hold its post in the third and fourth set of ends for the final score to read 10-81 to 8-81.

In other division three results, Avenel brushed past Mooroopna 16-81 to 2-80, Eildon defeated Shepparton Park 14-92 to 4-81 and Shepparton Golf notched a 14-89 to 4-71 result over Rushworth.
