Mooroopna Hockey Club is back on the winners list.

After losing to PEGS Hockey Club 6-1 last weekend, Mooroopna’s season has burst back to life with a commanding 6-0 victory over RMIT Hockey Club in the Women’s Victoria League Two.

The match was held at Shepparton Regional Hockey Complex on Sunday afternoon, with Mooroopna keen to bounce back after a three-game winless streak (two losses and one draw).

Kim Broadhurst led Mooroopna’s attack with two goals, while Alicia Cornelius, Kerry Gannon, Kim Starkey and Lauren Varapodio all chipped in with one goal.

This weekend, Mooroopna has an opportunity to make it two wins on the trot when it takes on last-placed Craigieburn Falcons Hockey Club.

It was a bye weekend in the men’s Regional Hockey League.
