Shepparton Sports City has played host to a number of Melbourne round-ball powerhouses in the past few weeks.
First up was Melbourne Knights, who travelled to McEwen Reserve to take on Goulburn Valley Suns in a January practice match, before Preston Lions and Dandenong City squared off in a pre-season friendly more recently.
At the weekend, 2022 Australia Cup semi-finalist Oakleigh Cannons rolled into town to take on the Suns in another exhibition game, capping an epic month of top-level football.
