Boots were on and chains were off for the region’s youth footballers at the weekend, with round one of Goulburn Murray Junior League hitting ovals across Greater Shepparton and beyond.
Thousands of youngsters took to the park in the opening games across the Central Goulburn, Murray and Seymour divisions.
