Below are some of the highlights from Saturday’s action you may have missed.

News photographer Rechelle Zammit attended the B-grade contest between Pine Lodge and Mooroopna and captured plenty of action.

Moon shines bright in Cats final

Riley Moon was the standout for Mooroopna in its B-grade qualifying final contest against Pine Lodge with a stunning 4-26 in the 16-run win.

The quick ripped through the Lodgers’ middle-order as Mooroopna restricted the away side to 109 runs.

Moon was also involved in a run-out to cap his memorable day in the field.

Hey Arnold

Sean Arnold is seeing them like beach balls at the moment.

The Invergordon talent crunched his second century in four weeks as the Hawks cruised to victory in the round 20 C-grade contest against Undera on Saturday.

Arnold’s 103-run knock consisted of eight sixes and five boundaries.

Arnold and teammate Aaryn Cormican combined for a whopping 181-run partnership

Heartbreak hotel

Matt Creaney will want to forget about Saturday’s C-grade clash in a hurry.

The Mooroopna opening bat fell five runs short of a magical maiden century in his side’s clash against Euroa.

Creaney crafted 95 runs from 104 deliveries and smoked 18 balls to the boundaries.

It wasn’t all bad news with Creaney’s heroics gifting Mooroopna a six-wicket win.

Earlier, Euroa’s Fletcher Paul hit 86 runs from 71 deliveries as the Magpies posted 8-200.
