Since dropping its first game of the campaign, Shepparton East has shown the rest of its competition it was just a bump on its journey.
Following the loss to Murchison-Toolamba, the Eagles have powered past Merrigum and Dookie United in recent weeks, with the latter succumbing to a 57-point demolition on Saturday.
A class first-half performance from the Eagles helped set up a 51-point buffer at the main break which put the contest beyond doubt and handed Rob Osborne’s team its 11th win of the campaign.
Talented ruck Tom McCluskey was again best-afield for East, while he found plenty of support from on-ballers Adam Fichera, Jai Morrison and Jeromy Aynsley.
