After seven rounds in the Edna Harling Shield Shepparton Park looks to have stamped its authority on the competition

The Kialla-based outfit secured another convincing 16-shot victory at home over Seymour on Tuesday in Goulburn Valley Playing Area midweek action.

Seymour proved a tricky adversary for Park — with two of the three rinks going down to the wire.

Margaret Thorne (23-21) and Di Hands (20-17) skipped their respective rinks to narrow victories.

It was the work of Graeme Myers (28-17) and his rink that had Park extend the margin out to a 16-71 to 0-55 win.

Park’s fourth win of the campaign has it remain in top spot on the ladder.

Elsewhere, Tatura-Hill Top has strung together back-to-back wins following a nervous win over Shepparton Golf.

The Bulldogs held on for a tense 14-78 to 2-70 win which has them leap back into fourth spot on the ladder.

Robbie Betson walked away with the one rink win for Golf, defeating Trevor Downie 30-27.

The Bulldogs had strong contributors in John Attwood’s (25-22) and Rod Madill’s (26-18) rinks.

Meanwhile, Euroa was phenomenal in its performance against Rushworth as it strolled to a commanding 32-shot victory.

Lastly, Kyabram maintained the heat on the top sides following its 13-shot win over East Shepparton.

The Bombers became the only side in division one to have defeated East and Shepparton Park this season.
