The sun was shining and golf balls were flying at Mooroopna Golf Club on Wednesday.
With the dark clouds, cold winds and gloomy winter weather becoming less common and the delightful feeling of spring suddenly upon the region, golfers flocked to the course to get back into the swing of things.
Like with most games of golf, drives were smoked, chips were nailed, long putts were sunk and smiles had.
Unfortunately — again — like all golf games, bunkers were hit, chips fell short, balls were lost and swear words were likely muttered with disgust.
The golf season is finally arriving, and fortunately, we had News photographer Rechelle Zammit on the course on Wednesday to capture all the action.
