Deakin Reserve entertained a top-six clash in the Goulburn Valley League under-18 competition at the weekend, with Shepparton hosting cross-town counterpart Shepparton Swans.
It was the Swans who emerged victorious after lodging a 12.8 (80) to 6.3 (39) result in the winners’ column, elevating the side to third on the ladder.
Swan Mason Reeves was excellent with four goals, while Liam Sanders shone for the Bears.
