It was a day to remember for the under-13s of Tallygaroopna Football Club on Sunday, who clinched a blockbuster one-point win over Lockington-Bamawm United Cats.

After a fast start from the Cats at Congupna Recreation Reserve, the Redlegs had a big job to do and trailed until the final term, when two unanswered last-gasp goals got them over the line in thrilling fashion.

Tallygaroopna’s Cooper O’Brien, Jimmy Blekic, Bodhi Luvara, Bohdi Lee and Hamish Moore all starred for the Redlegs.

There’s one game of the Keatings Goulburn Murray Under-13 Purple season to go before finals get under way on August 21.

News’ photographer Rechelle Zammit was at Congupna on Sunday to capture all the action.
