Despite the chilly, wet weather in Benalla on Saturday, August 17, spirits were high as the heart of the Goorambat Football Netball Club was celebrated by teammates and opposition alike.

Elise is popular with teammates and opposition players alike.

Elise Nolan ran through a specially made banner with her children as part of a special ceremony to celebrate her 250th game.

Elise Nolan led the Goorambat Bats to a 34-23 win in Benalla on Saturday.

Not letting the emotion of the event gets to her, Nolan, playing at wing defence, put in a solid game on the court, helping the Bats to a 34-23 win over local rivals the Panthers in their last game of the season in the B-grade competition of the Ovens and King Netball League.
