Goulburn Valley Suns’ under-21s proved at the weekend that form is temporary, class is permanent.

A latent stretch was tossed aside as the Suns walloped North Sunshine Eagles 7-2 at McEwen Reserve, marking the side’s first win since late June.

Cailyn Trask was the mastermind netting four goals, while Jude Crichton, Declan Kinnane and Hassan Alhilfi also struck the back of the net during the rout.

Saturday’s win keeps the Suns in second on the ladder behind Melbourne Victory Youth.

News photographer Aydin Payne was pitchside to snap the players in full flight.
