At Seymour Golf Club, a small group went out on Wednesday, August 21, to play a stableford round.

Dave Hamilton scored the best score of the day with 37 points, with Luke Rogan coming in second with 35 points.

The nearest-the-pins claimed were the sixth by Hamilton and the 17th by Rogan.

The ball pool went to Hamilton, Rogan and Greg Pell with 33 points.

The conditions were mild on Saturday, August 24, but there was still only one competition held on the day.

The day’s top score went to B-grade winner Sean Boland with 37 points.

The A-grade winner was Ian Richardson with 36 points.

Pell was nearest-the-pin on the fourth, Boland was closest on the sixth and 17th and on the 12th it was John Callaghan.

Bill Matthews won the drive-and-pitch on the eighth and Pell won on the 15th.

Boland, Richardson, Paula Britton, Callaghan and Roger Edwards scored 34 points or better in the ball pool.

On Friday, August 30, a social six-hole stableford will be held on holes 10 to 15.

All the tees have recently been rated, so the white, blue and red tees have slope ratings for both men and women.

On Saturday, August 31, both the men and women will play stableford and the men will play off the red tees.
