Murchison-Toolamba is looking to go one better in 2023 after falling at the final hurdle last year.

The star-studded group, one that came within 10 points of lifting the cup, is not only hungry to make amends — it has bolstered its line-up too.

The new additions arrive at the helm with first-year coach Brett Foley taking over the reins from Nick Iorianni.

Foley, who has an extensive coaching background, has brought in more firepower to last year’s runner-up.

Former premiership hero Chris Cullinan is back to add experience, while midfield jet David Smith and agile ruck Fletcher Paul add more firepower.

“It’s been a great start to life at Murch, everyone’s been very welcoming to me and my family,” Foley said.

“The boys are hungry. They are very keen to go one better. They came so close to tasting success and everyone’s raring to go. We’ll look to play a bit quicker, use our talls and use our speed this year.”
