Katamatite beats Blighty by 95 points

Playing away was no problems for Katamatite in round five of the Picola and District Football League.

Playing against Blighty, Katamatite had a substantial 95-point win against it opponent for a final score of 141 to 46.

Katamite dominated all four quarters of the match, finishing the first quarter on 32 points, the second quarter on 66, the third quarter on 121 and the final quarter with 141 points.

In comparison, Blighty posted 14 points in the first quarter, 15 points in the second quarter.

The end of the third quarter saw a slight bump in Blighty’s tally with 27 points before it finished the game on 46 points.

Top goalscorer for the match was Katamatite’s Dylan Callard, kicking nine goals.

Katamatite kicked a total of 22 goals for the game in comparison to its opponent’s six goals.

Katamatite currently sits fifth on the ladder.
