Katrina Ogden has created a first for the 142-year-old Rushworth Football Netball Club.

Her now exclusive claim to club fame is she is the first Tiger footballer or netballer to reach the 400 games milestone in the club’s history with 250 of these games at A-grade level.

And Katrina isn’t done yet by a long shot as a player.

In her many years with the club, she has accomplished some amazing feats. They include three premierships - in 1998, 1999 and 2013.

She was B-grade’s best-and-fairest winner last year and there have been plenty of runner-up best-and-fairest finishes as well.

Katrina has led multiple teams as the captain, including A-grade team this year. She has also has been a member of committees, has carried out umpires duties and at present coaches and manages the club’s boys under-15 footy team.

Her proudest achievements are receiving life membership not only for the club but also of the Kyabram District League.

Katrina has been an inspiration to all those who have been associated with her, not only on the court but off the court as well.

She is hard-working, kind, caring, committed and a proud member of the Rushworth Football Netball Club which has been honoured to have had her for the last 20-plus years with hopes of having for another 20.

Katrina’s parents Peter and Kaylene are also stalwarts of the Rushworth club to complete a family involvement.
