The destinations and dates for Kyabram District League finals glory have been announced.

A four-week finals series will take place again this year, with five member clubs and another from the Goulburn Valley League gaining hosting rights to the knockout phases of the competition in 2024.

The cut-throat action commences on August 24, with the first elimination final taking place at Avenel Football Netball Club.

Further north, Lancaster Football Netball Club plays host to the second elimination final a day later in a high-stakes Sunday special.

August 31 has first semi-final head to Girgarre Football Netball Club, while Undera Football Netball Club hosts the second the following day.

Tallygaroopna welcomes the preliminary final on September 7 before the competition’s final day, September 14, has grand final action return to Mooroopna Recreation Reserve for another year.

Each of the five venues in the lead up to the big dance differs from the clubs that hosted finals in 2023, seeing a new slate of clubs given the chance to open their doors to all in the KDL’s cut and thrust.

Clubs have until August 1 to confirm their acceptance to host, while exemptions must be lodged by August 16.

The top-six structure has the third-ranked team play sixth, while the fourth and fifth sides square off in the elimination finals.

Meanwhile, the top two outfits meet in the first semi-final, while the elimination winners play off in the second semi.

Preliminary final action has the highest ranked loser go up against the lowest ranked winner, with the victor going on to the grand final to play the winner of the first semi-final.
