Businesses getting behind Lions

Gearing up: Greg Beer with Seymour Football Netball Club treasurer Mitch Itter.

Sports clubs are sometimes referred to as the heart of the community, so when support is thrown behind them, everyone is a winner.

Beer Auto Group and Janelle Puppa Real Estate are keen to see the Lions roar on the footy field and netball court in 2024.

Beer Auto Group has been announced as the naming rights sponsor of the Seymour A-grade netball side, while Janelle Puppa Real Estate has been revealed as the naming sponsor of the under-18s footballers.

Janelle Puppa said her team was looking forward to another big year for the Lions.

“We’re excited to be right behind the Lions again this season in what we know will be another huge year for the club,” Puppa said.

“Sporting clubs are the lifeblood of our communities and it’ll be great to get down to Kings Park this season to cheer on the under-18s.

“The under-18s are the future stars of the club and we’re pleased to be supporting their development and making their last few years of underage football as good as can possibly be.”

Beer Auto Group managing director Greg Beer was equally as thrilled to be entering into a closer relationship with the Seymour Football Netball Club.

“The Seymour Lions have been big supporters of Beer Auto Group and it’s a great partnership for us to be taking to new heights this season,” Beer said.

“Over the past few years, the A-grade netball team has set the standard across the competition. We’ll be cheering them on and hoping to see them go deep in September.

“Beer Auto Group is a proud partner of the SFNC. This is a generational relationship and we look forward to celebrating the success of the Lions for years to come.”
