Moama Recreation Reserve will be the scene of Thursday’s T20 grand final, with Moama and Kyabram Fire Brigade vying for Goulburn Murray Cricket’s short format crown.

Moama earned a home final by winning last week’s semi-final against Nondies-Cohuna, successfully defending 152 runs after 71 not out from Jasper Langley.

Jake Klemm and Patrick Doyle fired Nondies to the perfect start until Jordan McGregor sent Klemm packing for 25, while brother Dylan was the next best contributor with 24.

Moama youngster Rhys Drennan struck at just the right time, claiming 3-25 as Nondies-Cohuna fell 11 runs short in the final over.

Moama faces the Flames in the final after their clash with Bamawm-Lockington United was abandoned.

The first ball of the grand final at Moama Recreation Reserve will be bowled at 5pm on Thursday, December 14.
