Murray Football League has announced its remaining venues to host 2022 finals.

Tongala and Congupna will host elimination finals on August 27 and 28, before the top two teams go head-to-head in the second semi-final at Finley on Saturday, September 3, to determine the first grand finalist.

The elimination final winners will compete in the first semi-final a day later at Mulwala. Deniliquin will then host the preliminary final on Saturday, September 10.

This comes after the announcement that the Murray League deciders will be held at Moama Recreation Reserve this season, marking the first grand finals at the venue since 2016.

Barring any dramatic changes, the MFL looks poised to host a finals series for the first time in three years after the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

The reigning premier in the football is Nathalia, while the current A-grade netball champion is Echuca United.
