The Lakers have been hard at work finalising their netball coaching line-up as they strive to make a splash in 2024.

Some of the club’s youngest players will soon get the opportunity to work with one of the most experienced coaches at the club as Katie Sullivan takes on the under-13s team.

Sullivan recently coached the Nagambie A-grade and the under-11 sides and was appointed senior netball co-ordinator at the Lakers for 2024.

Her experience is not limited to coaching, as Sullivan played a key role in the club’s 2023 B-grade premiership-winning side.

Stepping into the under-15s coaching role is Kymberleigh Rowland.

Rowland was working behind the scenes with the junior netball sides at Nagambie in 2023, but she’ll be front and centre in 2024.

Rowland has previously played with Rushworth and co-coached the Tigers to an A-grade premiership in 2013.

Leading the under-17s in 2024 is Mahony Fothergill.

Fothergill returned to the Lakers in 2023, stepping into the A-grade team after a stint at Euroa in the Goulburn Valley League.

Fothergill is no stranger to success at the Lakers, having played in the under-15s premiership side in 2013 and an under-17s premiership in 2015.

With a talented line-up of junior coaches, the future is looking bright for the Lakers.
