While rain saw play washed out in most regional cricket competitions, Coleambally’s cricketers were not denied their time on the pitch.

On Saturday, the C-grade side bowlers backed up Andy Fattore’s 113 not out a few weeks back by rolling Coro for 139.

Harvey Pound was the chief destroyer taking 6/22 and had five batsmen bowled.

Josh Taprell showed his class with the bat making 53 not out.

Alex Pound also bowled tight lines to take 3/10 off seven overs.

The B-grade side showed much better consistency in all facets of the game under lights in Griffith against the Leagues Club team.

Multiple strong partnerships set the side up for 7/150 with the bat.

With the ball, everyone that bowled got a wicket or two to clean Leagues up for 67.

The Milliken Shield side did not fare too well on Sunday, with Griffith making 142 and Coleambally all out for 43.

Logan Pound scored 12 not out and Tom DeMamiel took 2/15 with the ball.

Keep training hard everyone and hold onto your catches.
