As the school holidays continue, it can become harder to think of ideas to keep your kids entertained, but don’t worry, the Benalla Racing Club is here to lend a hand.

On Sunday, January 21, the Benalla Racing Club will hold the McDonald’s Kids Day Out, which is sure to be as entertaining for parents as it is for their kids.

It will not cost you an arm and a leg to attend the day full of fun activities and quality country racing, as entry for children is free, and an adult ticket is just $10.

Kids are encouraged to bring their bathers to the racetrack, as there will be a giant water slide to play on.

Kelly Sports will also be running activities throughout the day, and the first 250 children at the racing club will receive a free country racing backpack.

“There’s plenty to do for the kids,” Benalla Racing Club CEO Cameron Symes said.

“With the school holidays on and parents looking for things to do, this is the perfect day out.

“We’ve had plenty of rain, but the days, they’ve certainly warmed up again.

“The racing club looks cracking.

“The umbrellas are a perfect place for anyone wanting to set up in a prime location on the track.

“In the warmer weather we’ve got, it’s a great place for up to 10 people to set up for the day.”
