Star on-baller Joe Atley will miss Saturday’s round 13 encounter following his acceptance of an early guilty plea after he was reported during last week’s thrilling win over Shepparton.
Atley was reported for striking which was graded as intentional, high contact and low impact.
He was offered an early guilty plea of one match which was accepted.
Atley’s teammate Blake Evans is free to play after he received a reprimand for a striking charge that was graded as careless, body and low impact.
Evans was reported by the Match Review Officer and was offered an early guilty plea of a reprimand which was accepted.
Meanwhile, Euroa’s Brodie Asquith was reported for striking in the reserves match against Shepparton United.
It was graded as intentional, body contact and low impact and he was offered an early guilty plea of a reprimand which was accepted.
Elsewhere, a Goulburn Murray Junior League footballer was handed multiple weeks off after they were reported for using abusive, insulting, threatening or obscene language towards an opposition player.
The Echuca under-16 player was referred directly to the tribunal where they pleaded guilty and received a three-match suspension.
In the Northern Country Women’s League Youth Girls, a Shepparton Swans footballer was reported during the preliminary final for striking another player.
The player accepted an early guilty plea of a reprimand.
In the Picola District Football League, Katunga’s Daniel Campbell received a two-week penalty for making careless contact with an umpire and Tungamah’s Ash Saunders was handed a two-week suspension for charging.
