Echuca Moama Rockets will be back on their home turf this Sunday for round two of the Football Integration Development Association season.

After kicking off their season in Wodonga in round one, the Rockets will welcome Shepparton, Wodonga, Wangaratta and North Albury to Echuca South Recreation Reserve for a day of fun and football, with the action set to kick off from 10am.

The growing Rockets program has come leaps and bounds in both the Auskick and senior ranks, with coach Graeme Glanville expressing his excitement.

“Numbers are really good, we’ve gone from 15-16 players to having around 21,” Glanville said.

“They deserve to be out there... and to enjoy their football as well. It’s all about everyone getting a go everywhere.”

It’s the second round of a five-round campaign for the Rockets, who will compete in front of friends and family.

Founded 13 years ago, Echuca Moama Rockets has evolved into a successful program for all-abilities footballers to play, drawing participants in from all around the region.
