The Deniliquin Blue Heelers Rugby League Club have been officially accepted into the Proten Community Cup.

League officials agreed to accept the team at its AGM in October, which then had to be submitted to the NSW Rugby League for approval.

The clubs acceptance and continued involvement with the league would be under certain provisions, though.

They would have to be able to register enough players for a men’s and women’s team before February 25, 2025.

The club would also have to go through the competition in 2025 without having a forfeit.

Prospective players are invited to contact the Deniliquin Blue Heelers committee via their Facebook page.
