Thrown into a tough match against last season’s Goulburn Valley League A-grade finalist Shepparton United, Benalla Saints gave a good account of itself on Saturday, but couldn’t get the job done.
The Saints kept pace with the Demons for the majority of the contest at Benalla Showgrounds, but bowed out 43-29 in the round-five match-up.
