Round eight action in Shepparton District Tennis Association pennant was partially compromised after McEwen Reserve forfeited its game at Shepparton North.

The walkover result brings Shepparton North level at the top of the four-team table with a 5-1-2 record alongside McEwen Reserve, with more than a comfortable gap to the bottom two sides.

On that note, in the pennant fixture that was played bottom-placed Karramomus nabbed its second win of the season, convincingly knocking over Central Park 8-50 to 1-31.

In A1/A2 competition, McEwen Reserve Green continued its perfect record in completed fixtures, sweeping Lemnos in a 9-54 to 0-21 mauling.

Murchison Gold moved into a share of second place with a one-sided result in a local derby, thrashing winless Murchison Blue 8-48 to 1-18.
