Club championship matches
Four club championships were decided in the past two weeks, played mainly in difficult and oppressive conditions.
The women’s pairs went to Jan Wesselman and Linda Brown, who were too strong for Lynda Rohde and Dilva Grattan.
The men’s pairs was won by Greg Whiteman and Gerard O’Sullivan, who defeated Graeme Flint and Adam Ellerton.
The men’s singles title went to Max Hammond for a third time, who defeated last year’s runner-up, Allan Welsh.
The women’s singles crown went to Jenny Kreemers, who defeated Alison Ridley.
Congratulations to all of the above for the entertaining contests.
Congratulations also to Sandra O’Sullivan, who was narrowly beaten in the final of the Goulburn Murray Ladies Novice Singles played in Cobram. A stellar career awaits!
