Midweek pennant division three

Seymour VRI played host to Kyabram with a thumping win, 82-42.

Skipper Peter Stevens, George Furletti, Ian Cashill and Peter Delzotto had a stranglehold on this game throughout, coming away with a 27-13 win.

This was Stevens’ inaugural attempt at being a skipper. Congratulations on a job well done.

Skipper Joe Purcell, Helen Flint, Paul Rolfe and Kevin Cain had a tough outing and at the 21st end were seven shots down, before outscoring the opposition by eight shots to run home winners 20-19.

Skipper Moreno Puppa, Greg Jones, Bill Dawe and Jane Wilson controlled the opposition, winning 35-10.

This puts Seymour VRI second on the GV league ladder.

Next week, Seymour VRI travels to Shepparton Park.

Weekend pennant division three

Seymour VRI hosted Shepparton Park and had a good win, 99-84.

Skipper Mick Szczykski, Moreno Puppa, Bill Dawe and Peter Delzotto had a hard-fought game throughout, holding on to win the last two ends and the game, 24-22.

Skipper Phil Challis, Wayne Noonan, George Furletti and Jim Tuckwell battled tirelessly all game, going down 20-29.

Skipper Brendan Challis, Jhett Wyatt, Helen Flint and Paul Rolfe controlled the game and came up winners, 28-19.

Skipper Joe Purcell, Greg Jones, Peter Stevens and Kevin Cain dominated their game, winning 27-14.

Seymour VRI is on top of the GV league ladder.

Next week it travels to Shepparton Golf.

Weekend pennant division five

Seymour VRI had a bye this weekend, making it sixth overall on the GV league ladder.

Next weekend the team hosts Colbinabbin.
