Shepparton Bulls remain scoring machines after big Vic Rugby Premiership win

Beware the Bulls.

Shepparton’s rugby union side has been free-scoring all season in the Rugby Victoria Premiership and Saturday was no exception.

The Bulls ran through Wyndham at Vibert Reserve, crossing for eight tries as Danny Patea completed a hat-trick — nailing a conversion of his own to boot.

Luatolu Polutele Mekuli provided the game’s first two tries, while Kitione Seruisavou, Manimani Paulo and skipper Veaneiafu Veamatahau — in game 100 — also delivered the goods in the 51-22 rout.

The result marked victory number seven for the Bulls from their eight games this year, maintaining a foothold on top spot thanks to a vastly superior points difference over Geelong, which also sits at 7-1.
