Something about the Tuesday morning timeslot suits Shepparton Park to a tee.

Park carried on its barnstorming form in the Goulburn Valley Playing Area Edna Harling Shield, edging East Shepparton in a classic third round on the greens.

After Graeme Myers steered Park to a 27-22 win in the opening rink, East bit back by three shots in the second.

The final rink was shared 24-all, leaving Park with chocolate-coated hands and East with egg on its face as the former ran away with a 13-75 to 3-73 victory.

Shepparton Golf also came up trumps, albeit in a much more convincing manner.

The Golfers swung hard against Euroa to record a 15-80 to 1-57 win, rubber-stamped by Kris Wright’s four notching a 12-shot result in the third rink.

Around the greens, Tatura-Hill Top lost out to Seymour 14-68 to 2-56, while Rushworth bettered Kyabram 12-76 to 4-73.
