Rochester has slumped to yet another loss in the GVL A-grade netball competition, as the squad continues to be hampered by injury.

With just seven players taking to the court against powerhouse Euroa, the Tigers were overcome 35-54 at the Moon Oval courts, falling to a 2-5 record after seven rounds.

The Tigers were up against it from the get-go, with Euroa leaping out to a seven-goal margin at the first break, a lead they extended to 10 at half-time as Rochy trailed 17-27.

The gap continued to grow in the second half as Euroa, led by 41 goals from Mia Sudomirski, pushed the lead out to 16 at the final break, before securing the eventual 19-goal win in the final term.

Jarrenhy Webb was the most prolific of the Tigers at the attacking end, piling on 21 goals, while Morgan Dingwall shot the remaining 14 goals.

Rochester will enjoy a week off this weekend as the competition breaks for interleague competition, before returning to the court against Seymour on June 1.

While no Rochester players will be in action, Tigers co-coach Rachel Whipp will be at the helm of the GVL side to take on the Ovens and Murray team on Saturday at Deakin Reserve.
