Tigers 0 vs Strikers 10:

The women Tigers faced a strong Strikers in their semi-final, ultimately going down 0-10.

The women displayed their strong-willed mentality to keep going multiple times throughout the game despite the Strikers’ solid defence.

Mel Gillies stepped into goals for the last game and did a phenomenal job given the circumstances.

Multiple shots were kicked away from the goals by Gillies, who was assisted by full-backs Bec Littler and Siobhan Higgins, both playing solid games.

Along the half line, Amber Armstrong, Lee Manning and Ebony Jennings utilised their impressive attacking and defending skills to direct the ball from going past them and changing the direction of play multiple times.

Amber as centre-half caused the Strikers to alter their game plan multiple times to get around her.

In the forward line, Katrina Brown on wing positioned herself every time there was a free hit for Benalla and Eloise McDonald, returning for the last game of the season, did an impressive job while still injured to provide opportunities on goal.

While it's the end of the road for the Tigers, the Strikers move on to face Echuca-Moama who has beaten them twice this year, three goals to two and five goals to one in round five and nine, respectively.
