The Aces welcomed back captain Steve Raynor, who fired in two tons and a 125. Mark Jones slipped in two tons and a 140.

The Kings went toe-to-toe with the Pirates in the next game of the night.

These two teams always tough it out in closely-fought matches, so it was no surprise to see this one go down to the wire. The Kings emerged victorious 6-5 on their home deck.

The Kings’ highlights included three tons and a 125 for Adam Lynch. Rob Welsh banged in four tons, a 125 and a 140.

The Kilmore Cobras faced off against the Broadford Badass at the Royal Oak Hotel in Kilmore in the final A-grade game of the night.

The Cobras struck first in the opening quads game, but it was nearly all one-way traffic after that, as the Broadford team took home the choccies with a 9-2 win.

Rohan Clancy was a standout for the Cobras, notching the team’s only singles win all while throwing three tons and a 121.

Crystal Bird was on point as well, smashing in two tons, a 132 and a 134.

Gerard Brady chipped in with a high score of 116.

The Marauders’ Daniel Chandler smacked in a high score of 104 and Simon Collier chimed in with a single ton.

The 26ers loaded up at the Dave Cave to try and get some payback after going down 6-5 in round one against the Kilmore Convicts, but the task was made considerably easier, with the Convicts only fielding three players for the night.

The 26ers banked the four points with an 8-3 victory.

The 26ers captain Dave McGrath smacked in five pegs, two tons, a 124 and a 140, Brian Ward snapped in a ton and Bree McGrath made her competition debut in style, slotting a ton.

The final game of the night took place at the Pyalong Rec Reserve, with the Tiger-neers looking to assert their dominance over the Royal Rascals.

It wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns for the home side as the Rascals rose to the challenge early to see the scores all square after four games.
