After three days of action-packed football fun the 2022 V-Line Cup came to an end Wednesday afternoon last week.
Hitting the fields of Deakin Reserve, Mooroopna, Rumbalara and Princess Park, the 73rd edition of the carnival went off without a hitch.
About 600 of the most talented under-15 male and female footballers from across country Victoria descended on Shepparton for the event, with 21 games being played.
The September tournament was the second time the city held the event this year, with Shepparton also hosting the postponed 2021 edition in April.
Three Goulburn Murray teams took to the field across the carnival, with the girls and division one boys teams suffering two defeats.
While not a results focused carnival, the boys division two side secured a four-point win over North East Border on the last day of the tournament and News photographer Megan Fisher was at Rumbalara’s Mercury Drive to capture the action.
