It sure is a nice feeling being perfect.
After all, that’s what I have been this season with my bold predictions.
I am a perfect 3-0 with my tips in 2023 after Lancaster defeated Longwood in their Kyabram District League A-grade netball clash last weekend.

Nailing a hat-trick of predictions is great, but do you know what would be even better? Extending that streak to four – and that’s exactly what I’m planning on doing.
This weekend I have another bold prediction in the Murray Football League, with a big rivalry clash drawing my attention.
Numurkah will take on Nathalia on Sunday afternoon, with the red-hot Blues set to take on the perennial powerhouse Purples.
Who is going to win? I am tipping it will be Numurkah.
Just like me, the Blues are a perfect 3-0 to start the year and are one of only two undefeated sides remaining in the MFL.
Come Sunday night, I am predicting that both of our respective streaks will have grown to four.
But what if I’m wrong? Anything can happen in a rivalry game, so what happens if it’s Nathalia that comes out on top?
Well, if that’s what happens, I will wear a Purples playing jumper every single day for a month straight.
I’ll wear it everywhere – to work, to the grocery store and out to dinner – I will wear it here, there and everywhere, every single day.
I will even wear it to footy training, which I’m sure will earn me a number of fines that could quickly reach a rather large sum considering I play for a local club that is not Nathalia.
But hey, I won’t have to worry about that if Numurkah wins on Sunday, which I’m predicting it will.
On the flip side, if it turns out I am wrong for the first time in 2023, at least I won’t have to worry about picking what to wear every day for the next month.
