The Edward River was a picture of serenity on Friday night, which created perfect conditions for an evening of water skiing.
We gave a friendly and warm welcome to new, and former families, who joined us for an action-packed evening of skiing.
We are full of gratitude for the experienced volunteers who are happy to give up their time to teach kids and adults to ski, and to highlight the importance of water safety.
The beginner boat, Rolco, is fully booked each week as there are several smaller learners who require the seahorse and boom bar to gain confidence and develop their skills.
We thank Leigh Holmberg and his sister Carissa for manning Rolco - these siblings are a dream team, with their calm and motivating personalities.
A huge thank you to Bernie Biggs and Debbie Jennings for sharing your wealth of experience and knowledge with the more experienced skiers on Gilflite.
Ski school awards were given to Logan Littman and Ruby Menadue.
Logan has been involved in ski school for the past few seasons.
He is very confident on two skis and always has a smile on his face.
Last Friday night, Logan attempted to progress on a single ski.
This can be a tricky skill to master, but Logan showed his willingness and eagerness to take on the challenge.
It was Ruby's first time attending ski school, and it is clear she is determined to follow in her older sisters' footsteps. They also learned to ski at the Deni Boat Club.
With the support of Leigh and Carissa, Ruby confidently got into the boat and showcased her skills on the seahorse. We are very proud of you, Ruby.
A reminder that the Murray to Moyne Fundraising night is on Friday, November 29 starting at 5.30pm.
There will be live music by Jaymi Clancy, a silent auction and wood fired pizza available - a night not to be missed.
Everyone who decides to take part in ski school must be a member of the Deniliquin Boat Club.
