YEEHAW. STRAP ON YOUR CHAPS AND PULL ON YOUR BOOTS, IT’S TIME FOR THE RODEO.

After a successful event last year, Echuca is welcoming back the M5Rodeo, bringing Australia’s best bucking stock action with it.

Families of all ages are invited to come along for what will be a night not to be missed.

“We’re bringing a better and more polished show back this year,” M5 Promotions founder Nicole McDonald said.

“We’ve expanded our CowKids hour which will give more opportunities to the kids,” Nicole said.

“We have a full program for the kids, ranging from the mini bucking bulls to the junior roping events.

“Our juniors riders will spend the CowKids hour with the local kids, which will give the local kids a chance to meet and learn from them.”

Entry to the CowKids hour is free, with families encouraged to come and try out the activities on offer.

The main performance will follow CowKids hour, with professional riders taking to the arena.

“Our senior riders will ride bulls, ride bareback, and will also take part in the roping events, as well as other skills,” Nicole said.

“All the major spills and thrills of the rodeo will be on offer.

“It’s a fantastic way to try out the sport and see some of the best in Australia show off their skills at the same time.”

“We’re a family-owned business and so we have created an event that is perfect for families,” Nicole said.

“This is an opportunity for families to come and enjoy a night out that you wouldn’t usually do.

“The kids are in a safe environment, so parents get an opportunity to sit back and enjoy the live action. It’s a win-win.”

The Echuca Rodeo will be held at Rotary Park, Echuca, on Friday, February 24, with gates opening at 4pm. Tickets available at the gate.
